Birth Prep Sessions
I offer prenatal birth preparation sessions for families who want all the education and preparation from prenatal visits with a doula but prefer to keep their birth experience intimate and private without the presence of a doula at their birth. These sessions are available in-person in your home (if you live locally) or virtually and are tailored to your specific needs and situation. This is also a great option for families who live out of town (or across the country!) and want to benefit from birth prep without the hands on birth support.

The Sessions:
Each session is 3 hours long and takes place either in-person in your home or virtually. The number of sessions you book is entirely up to you (at least 2 is recommended). Depending on your existing level of birth education and your goals for preparation, you may choose from any of the typical prenatal topics I cover with my families:

touch on previous trauma, PTSD/CPTSD and its relationship to labor & birth

providing education/information/options around pregnancy choices such as ultrasound, tests, screens, vaccines, treatments.

options around birth choices (induction, membrane sweeps, cervical exams, pushing positions, monitoring, pain management, cesarean, NICU stay, GBS, Rhogam, NST, biophysical profile and more)
