Postpartum Doula Support
The postpartum period is one of the most vulnerable seasons of the childbearing journey. More importantly, this period is when birthing parents face the highest risk for mental health crisis while navigating the steepest hormonal and physical depletion of their lives. Postpartum care isn’t a luxury - it’s a safety net, and it deserves just as much intention and preparation as the birth itself.
My postpartum support is designed to meet families where they are, even when they don’t yet know what they’ll need. It includes a prenatal postpartum planning session and my 35-page postpartum planning workbook to complete ahead of birth, followed by in-home support after baby arrives. I bring quiet, steady emotional presence with practical, non-clinical support, holding space for emotional recovery, birth processing as well as education on feeding, sleep, newborn care, nourishment, baby wearing, and so much more. I love postpartum work just as deeply as birth work and value collaboration with other birth professionals; families are welcome to work with me as their postpartum doula alone, alongside a different birth doula, or as an extension of their birth package. For my birth clients, additional postpartum hours are available at a discounted rate so support can continue in a way that feels familiar and accessible.
